Former Austrian Chancellor Kern visits Steinriegel wind farm
It was no ordinary visitor that the citizens of Ratten greeted on the Steinriegel mountain on 7 August 2017.
The presence of Austrian Chancellor Kern ensured an outstanding turn-out at the event. The chancellor enjoyed fantastic weather at the top of the mountain as he was given an insight into wind power generation in the Upper Styrian mountains. As the company that designed and installed Steinriegel I & II, ECOwind was in attendance to provide explanations to the chancellor.
Whatever our political persuasions and beliefs, we were all delighted by this powerful message in support of wind power and renewable energy in Austria.
