When you apply for a job with us, we process your data for the purpose of assessing your suitability, competency and professional aptitude in relation to the job for which you are applying. If you provide us with your consent to do so, we will also store and process your data so that we are able to contact you at a later date.

The storage and processing of your data to this effect is carried out on the basis of legitimate interest, in this case conducting an efficient recruitment process (Article 6 (1) point (f) of the GDPR), and on the basis of the necessity to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6 (1) point (b) of the GDPR). If you agree to your data being stored, we will only process your dataif we have received your consent to do so.

We collect this data during the recruitment process either as a result of you providing us with this data (e.g. by sending us your CV by email) or as a result of us noting down this information ourselves (e.g. by taking notes during the interview). You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, should you choose notto do so, you will not be able to participate in the recruitment process.

We only process your data for as long as it is necessary to do so for the recruitment process or forthe establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

  • If we do not enter into an employment relationship with you, and you have not given us your consent to keep your data on record, your data will be deleted 6 months after the position has been filled.
  • If your application is successful, we will store the data collected from you during the recruitment process for as long as we are statutorily required to do so or untilany legal claims have expired.

In other words, none of your data as a user will be transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos and provide your consent to the transfer of data, will YouTube cookies be stored on your computer and data transferred to Google, Inc.,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA in Google’s capacity as YouTube operator. 9. Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and saves information in server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

• Time of the server enquiry

This data cannot be attributed to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to review this data at a later date, if concrete indications of unlawful use become known to us.

10. Location and duration of storage

When you contact us, we will save the data that you provide us with for a period of six (6) months for the purpose of answering your enquiry or any subsequent queries. We do not pass on this information to anyone without your express consent. The data that we have saved is stored by our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, for a period of 14 days. For security reasons, we also use third-party providers of back-up services, by whom data is stored for up to five years.

11. SSL security

Your orders and your personal data such as your name, address or credit card details are protected by state-of-the-art security systems. This data is encrypted for transfer by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) from Verisign, making it illegible by third parties. SSL is a security standard that is supported by all conventional internet browsers. You can recognise the security status of a domain by the “s” at the end of the first part of the URL in the address bar (e.g. https instead of http). ECOwind puts all necessary precautions in place to protect your personal data. You can also actively support us by never revealing your password to anybody and selecting the encrypted transfer of data (SSL) whenever we offer this (e.g. during the order process). If you share your computer with other people, make sure that you log out at the end of every session. By working together, we can make sure that your online purchasing is truly safe.
