Eu-wide Austria is the only country where the majority of victims of violence are women. This is unacceptable! Nearly 1 in 5 women have been abused in their lifetime. In times of crises the number is rising. The United Nations are marking 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence (from 25 November to 10 December 2021).

For the second time in a row AAG Holding is part of the global UN Secretary-General’s UNiTE campaign: “Orange the World: End Violence against Women Now!” To take a stand against violence the windmill will be illuminated orange for 16 days. The colour orange represents courage.
