After the construction of the first wind farm in Carinthia last year, the topic of wind power has also arrived in schools. Especially in the primary schools in the Wolfsberg district.
With the campaign “Windenergie für Kinder erlebbar machen“ even the youngest children are taught about wind energy and can experience wind power experimentally.
ECOwind supports this school campaign and has financed the wind power models for the school lessons.
Together with DI (FH) Armin Zraunig, a specialist in scientific experimentation, the children built a total of 12 wind turbines and put them into operation.
They were fascinated by the technology and definitely see the importance of wind power for present and future energy production.
