On 8th and 9th November, ECOwind hosted the Floating-PV team event of its mother company, BayWa r.e. This international meeting took place for the first time with this line-up and in this way, and to ECOwind’s delight, it was held in Austria.
The first day of the meeting at the company’s location in Kilb was dedicated to getting to know each other and exploiting synergies. In a workshop lasting several hours, Floating-PV plants were presented at various locations in Europe and the advantages and challenges were discussed. The dinner at the Cityhotel in St.Pölten was a pleasant end to the first day.
On the second day, the focus was on the Floating-PV project in Grafenwörth, the largest plant in Central Europe. On site, the team members got a picture of the construction site and were transported directly to the floating plant by boat. All project details were discussed during the technical tour, and open questions were answered.
